  • AI in Engineering & Robotics (autonomous systems, smart manufacturing, computational fluid dynamics)
  • AI for Remote Sensing & Earth Science (satellite image analysis, geospatial AI, land use monitoring)
  • AI in Data Science & Mathematical Modeling (automated theorem proving, AI-driven simulations, bioinformatics)

Open Access Policy

IJAI4S follows a fully open-access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely available to researchers, practitioners, and the general public worldwide. This aligns with our commitment to global knowledge dissemination and the rapid advancement of AI in science.

Copyright & Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their articles under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Peer Review Process

IJAI4S employs a double-blind peer-review process to ensure high scientific quality and fairness. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant domain.

Repository Policy

The IJAI4S permits authors to deposit all versions of their work in institutional or subject-specific repositories of their choice.

Authors are allowed to deposit the following versions:

  • Preprint (submitted version before peer review)

  • Author Accepted Manuscript (after peer review, before typesetting)

  • Published Version (final, publisher-formatted PDF)

Authors are encouraged to include a citation to the original publication and a DOI link when depositing the accepted or published version.

There are no embargoes or restrictions on repository deposit, and authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons license.

Use of Generative AI

Authors must disclose any use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar models—in the writing, analysis, or creation of content submitted to IJAI4S. These tools may be used to support language editing or idea formulation, but authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted work.

Any use of GenAI must be explicitly acknowledged in the manuscript, either in the acknowledgments section or in a dedicated statement. For example:
"This manuscript was proofread using ChatGPT (OpenAI), and all content was subsequently reviewed and verified by the authors."

Generative AI tools must not be listed as authors and must not be used to generate, fabricate, or manipulate data, images, or results. Any misuse of GenAI may result in rejection or retraction in accordance with our publishing ethics policy.

Reviewers and editors are also expected to use GenAI tools responsibly, and only for non-confidential tasks such as language checking or formatting suggestions. Review of manuscripts must not be delegated to AI models.

This policy aligns with best practices recommended by COPE, Nature, Elsevier, and other leading scholarly publishers.
